  • OMG! I know someone that knew her and I bet I could get you a few more things to get under her skin. Perhaps you should set up an email address where people can get in contact with you.

    The condensed version:

    Suffice it to say that I WAS Jane's friend. I thought she was so badly hurt by life that she used the "tough girl" as an armour against life. And you know, I can understand that, to a degree. I have met her in person. We didn't get along.

    Shortly after the in-person meeting, when I didn't jump to visit her at her place, this pushed her nose in her ear and she sent a vile little e-mail, trashed me on her site and then banned me. (This was under "Funkalicious." She's also been known as "Social Reject" and "Reno Jane" at "Badlands.com" (which is when I met her online).

    I called her "friend" for quite some time, so when she slags me out on her site (which she still occasionally does) it hurts. I'm only human, you know.

    Apparently, the "tough girl" routine isn't an act. She's just hateful. It's in the face-to-face interaction that she falls apart. She's trashed nearly every "friend" she's had (save one that I know of) since I met her (around 2000) online.

    It USED to hurt a lot -- now, the most overwhelming emotion I can conjure up is pity. And that? Not so much. She brings it all on herself and then blames others. It's childish and stupid.

  • Margi - I too had been a friend since Social Reject. I was even on her members only list at Scratchmybitch. I didn't agree with her politics but some of the stuff she posted made me laugh. She took offense at one of my posts and really went psycho over a comment I made on her site. Turns out she doesn't have much of a sense of humor and is incredibly thinskinned. Shr proceeded to trash me and ban me. She sent me a vicious e-mail with some personal info on her that was supposed to make me feel sorry for her. My pity meter was in the shop that week.
    I did get two good posts out of that letter. I din't normally use the word, but I agree that Jane is a cunt and a dumb one at that.

  • I just love my fire-breathing Dragon friend. Sorry, B. I don't have any information on the whereabouts of this person. I gladly lost all of that information some time ago. Add to that her propensity for dropping nyms and nicks and picking up new ones, who knows what e-mail/web address/alter-ego she's using now?

    But rest assured, like the proverbial bad penny (or turd in a punchbowl), she'll surface again.

    Watch this space -- because I believe between Jeremy and Denny, they'll figure out where she turns up.
